Ricoh are currently recruiting for a Marketing Automation Lead who can be based across the EMEA region. This role will be responsible for developing and executing effective marketing automation strategies to drive lead generation, nurture leads and improve customer engagement. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams and operating companies in EMEA to optimise marketing campaigns and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
This role will go beyond the technical aspects, overseeing processes within Eloqua and focusing on industry best practices in marketing automation to improve overall campaign effectiveness, customer segmentation and lead nurturing. It is essential for this role that successful candidates have proven expertise with Eloqua.
What you will be doing:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing automation strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Manage and maintain the marketing automation system (including integrations with other tools), ensuring its efficiency and effectiveness.
- Identify process automation opportunities and implement workflows to improve efficiency.
- Design, implement and optimise marketing automation campaigns using A/B testing methodologies.
- Design and implement lead nurturing programmes to guide leads through the sales funnel.
- Ensure data accuracy and cleanliness within the marketing automation platform.
- Work with other stakeholders to define KPIs and track progress against marketing objectives, making recommendations to the Content Operations and Go To Market teams.
- Support the onboarding of Ricoh's acquired businesses to the Eloqua marketing automation platform.
Team Management:
- Inspire and coach a team of young marketing automation enthusiasts.
- Provide training to new hires.
You will ideally have:
- Education to at least degree level or equivalent professional qualification, preferably in marketing or business administration.
- Substantial proven experience in marketing automation or a related field, with a proven track record of successfully implementing projects in Eloqua.
- Any certification in Eloqua or other marketing automation platforms would be a distinct advantage.
- Strong knowledge of email marketing, lead nurturing and CRM systems, plus a good understanding of Demand Waterfall.
- Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools would be an advantage.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal; any other language skills will be a plus.
- Highly organised and self-motivated with a sense of urgency.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good project management capabilities, including the ability to accurately specify project timelines.
- Energetic self-starter with the desire and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good understanding of different international cultures and behaviours, ideally experience in working in an international environment.
