Work Schedule: Full time, Monday - Friday, 12 pm - 9:30 pm
Required License: Valid Class A FL license or willingness to obtain one (we will provide training and pay for licensing)
Mechanic Pay: $25 - $32 per hour base, depending on experience, plus up to $3 per hour incentive
401K: 60% company match up to 10% of salary

We are seeking a fleet mechanic responsible for maintenance, repairs, and inspections on trucks, trailers, forklifts, cars, and other equipment. Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining cleanliness of the garage area.
- Assisting drivers with minor mechanical issues before delivery.
- Performing road repairs as needed.
- Conducting weekly fleet checks, including mileage, fluids, belts, tires, leaks, and inspections.
- Driving repaired vehicles to verify repairs meet specifications.
- Repairing forklifts, chargers, batteries, and other equipment.
- Performing preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
- Inspecting tires, ensuring DOT compliance, and addressing vehicle appearance issues.
- Maintaining vehicle registration and insurance documentation.
- Inspecting refrigeration units and performing electrical or diesel repairs as needed.
- Managing Vehicle Condition Reports and filing paperwork accordingly.
- Logging maintenance activities in shop software and processing invoices promptly.
- Driving tractor trailers between company facilities as required.
- Assisting with facility maintenance and yard inspections.
Physical Demands: Ability to maneuver in tight, low areas during repairs.
