Our client, a renowned Contract Research Organisation (CRO) specialising in Real-World Evidence (RWE) and Health Technology Assessment (HTA) studies, is seeking an experienced and driven Statistical Team Manager to join their growing team.
About the Role
As Statistical Team Manager, you will play a pivotal leadership role in the line management and development of a highly skilled statistics team. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the team structure, drive innovation, and contribute to strategic growth across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Line Management: Lead all aspects of people management including onboarding, performance reviews, training needs analysis, promotions, salary reviews, and disciplinary actions.
- Team Structure: Design, implement and monitor effective line management processes to support team growth and development.
- Recruitment: Manage the recruitment and off-boarding of permanent and contract statisticians.
- Internal Projects & Development:
- Lead or contribute to internal initiatives such as macro development and AI implementation.
- Oversee training, mentoring, and onboarding processes.
- Act as the main point of contact for internal communications, company meetings, and collaborations with HR, marketing, scientific and employer branding teams.
About You
You are a collaborative and proactive leader with a strong background in statistics within the life sciences sector. You have experience managing or mentoring statistical teams, a deep understanding of RWE/HTA studies, and a desire to help shape the future of a dynamic, fast-paced CRO.
