The purpose of our Logistics/Porter is to work within BT's Better Workplace Building in Bristol Assembly and be responsible for managing the flow of goods and items into, around and out of the building on behalf of the FM team. Key Responsibilities are as follows:
- Moving plant, equipment, furniture, deliveries, and materials around site efficiently as required by the facilities team workstreams.
- Loading and unloading dishwasher.
- Keeping relax and refuel areas tidy and restocking.
- Responsible for the logistics of events on site including loading and unloading of equipment, porterage of items around the building and event room physical set up / take down as needed.
- Support with signing in events contractors.
- Support with site waste management.
- Manage the FM storage area in the carpark and ensure goods are moved to correct location in the building.
- Reporting and managing issues or breakdowns of equipment.
- Building and sustaining effective relationships within the customer organisation.
- Work in line with CBRE Health & Safety policy, ensuring that safe systems of work are always adopted whilst creating a safe working environment for our customers and colleagues alike.
- Ensure compliance with all processes and procedures, statutory requirements & engineering standards.
- Support sustainability through clear and concise management on site of all waste movements and supporting with recycling initiatives.
- Manage the waste service providers and look to improve on service delivery.
- The effective management of consumable stock, tools, and equipment.
- Other relevant duties consistent with the general requirements of our services delivery as directed by the Logistic Manager and FM Management team.
