People Advisor

Position:

Reporting to the People Director, the People Advisor will be a valued member of our small and collaborative People & Comms team. You’ll support client groups across the business, providing practical, thoughtful, empathetic advice throughout the employee lifecycle, while contributing to a variety of HR projects and initiatives. Working closely with stakeholders and the wider P&C team, you\’ll play an active role in day-to-day HR operations and longer-term initiatives that help strengthen our culture and bring our values to life.

This is a hands-on, varied role that would suit someone with some HR advisory experience who’s ready to take on more responsibility and develop further as a trusted partner to the business.

Requirements:

Essential

• Previous experience in an HR/People Advisor or Coordinator role, providing advice across the employee lifecycle
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels
• Solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices, confident in managing employee relations issues, including TUPE and redundancy, in line with relevant legislation and internal policies
• Curious and proactive, keen to take initiative, ask questions, and seek opportunities for improvement
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
• A collaborative team player and ambassador of our core values: Be Kind, Always Curious, and Be the Best We Can Be, consistently representing these values across the wider business

Desirable

• CIPD Level 3 or 5 (or working towards)
• Experience working in a creative, digital, publishing, or media environment
• Experience in training delivery and design
