Exhibition Stand Designer

We are the internal recruitment partner for a well-established business creating bespoke exhibition stands for events across the UK and abroad.

With a strong reputation and exciting projects lined up, they are expanding their team and looking for a creative Exhibition Stand Designer to join the team in Washingley, Peterborough.

Responsibilities:

• Understand and interpret customer requirements and visions to design high-quality, eye-catching exhibition stands
• Apply practical and creative approaches to each project
• Accurately model and render using design software (SketchUp and V-Ray preferred)
• Utilise knowledge of dimensions, ergonomics, and construction in designs
• Collaborate with the sales and production team to plan stand execution
• Incorporate materials, lighting, graphics, and media into designs
• Take briefs from customers via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organisational skills
• Deliver excellent customer service and communication
• Learn and adapt to new software tools as needed

Requirements

• Proven experience within a 3D design role
• Proficient with various design software platforms including Sketch Up, V-Ray, Adobe Creative Cloud
• Strong understanding of spatial design, ergonomics, and construction methods
• Ability to model and render designs quickly and accurately
• Highly organised with a strong eye for detail
• Excellent time management with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• A basic salary of £26,700 – £35,000 dependent on skills and experience
• Working hours: Monday to Friday 08:00–16:30 or 08:30-17:00
• 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays – increasing with service
