Key Responsibilities
- Support students with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs and other behavioural challenges across KS1 and KS2
- Implement strategies to help pupils regulate emotions and remain engaged in learning
- Work closely with the SENCO, teachers, and pastoral staff to ensure continuity and consistency in behavioural support
- Contribute to creating a safe, calm, and stimulating environment
- Build trusting relationships with pupils and their families
Ideal Candidate
- Experience working with children with SEMH or challenging behaviours
- Strong behaviour management techniques and a calm, empathetic approach
- Ability to remain composed and adaptable under pressure
- A genuine passion for inclusive education
- Relevant training or qualifications (Team Teach, MAPA, etc.) are advantageous
