Will work as a speech coach in the Hauser Lab assisting both undergraduate and graduate students with their speech performances. Assist with office duties as needed, such as promoting the Hauser Lab through classroom visits and workshops. Maximum appointment is limited to 50% FTE (20 hours per week). May need to travel to the Brownsville Campus once a week.

Discipline Specific Required Qualifications:

  • The Graduate Assistant position is available to full-time graduate students, preferably in the Communication Master's Program.
  • Graduate Assistant will work with the Hauser Lab Director and the students that come into the Hauser Lab.
  • The responsibilities will vary with the needs of the Hauser Lab.
  • Total hours will be 20 hours per week with flexibility to accommodate the students' class schedule.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Admissions in the Communication Master's Program.
