The Business Rates team has expanded rapidly over recent years in response to an increased number of clients and properties under management. Fee income and profitability have grown accordingly. Established in 1896, Knight Frank now comprises a global network of over 600 offices in 48 countries.

Responsibilities:

  • Be proactive, enthusiastic, and driven in providing the best Business Rates advice to clients.
  • Work as a team player to ensure the Business Rates department meets its annual targets and objectives.
  • Carry out all work in accordance with our demanding Professional Standards.
  • Keep knowledge of Business Rates up to date by attending training courses and conferences periodically.
  • Generate instructions and fees to meet annual targets.
  • Maintain a prominent professional profile and stay alert to business opportunities.

Qualifications / Education required:

  • MRICS and/or IRRV qualified.
  • Five or more years of post-qualification experience in Business Rates.
  • Driver's License.

Personal Skills Profile:

  • Ability to identify opportunities to generate new clients and fee income across the South Wales region.
  • Ability to promote the Partnership effectively and professionally.
  • Capability to prepare and implement Business Development strategies with the Regional Head and team.
  • Be an all-round team player.
  • Good IT skills and knowledge of Riverlake, Analyse, & Rates Data.
  • Proven track record in Business Rates.
