An opportunity has been created for an experienced Electrical Fitter or Electrical Engineer with immediate effect. This is initially an ongoing contract opportunity. Permanent vacancies arise regularly, with transfer to permanent employment available for the right candidates. Semi-skilled Electrician's Mate also considered, provided they have industrial experience. Mechanical Fitters are also required.
This is an onsite-based role with no travel to alternative sites.
Essential experience and skills:
- Electrical Industrial Engineering experience with qualification 18th Edition
- Manufacturing Heavy Engineering
- Mechanical skills would be an added bonus
- May consider semi-skilled Electrical skills/Electrician's Mate, with pay rate adjusted accordingly
Hours:
- Monday to Thursday 06:30 am to 4:30 pm or 07:00 am to 5:00 pm, currently all dayshift
- A night shift may be created, which would be Monday to Thursday 7:00 pm to 5:00 am on a 2-week rotation (2 weeks dayshift, 2 weeks night shift)
Rates of Pay:
- Earn £60k+ per annum with dayshift, nightshift, and overtime
- Basic £20.73/hr + holidays
- OT1 £31.10/hr + holidays
- OT2 £41.46/hr + holidays
- Paid via PAYE, weekly, 1 week in arrears
This is an ongoing contract with an immediate start.
