  • Participating actively with the execution of M&A transactions
  • Preparing investment memorandums, discussing the investment rationale and strategy for the business post-closing
  • Assisting in the integration of newly acquired businesses and the tracking of post-closing performance, reporting to Group and Portfolio leadership
  • Using your initiative to spot opportunities to improve performance and to communicate these insights back to the senior management
  • Willingness to travel nationally / internationally to fully meet the needs of the role
Job Qualifications:
  • Experience at a top-tier accounting firm (ACA/ACCA qualified), consulting firm, investment banking, with preference given to those with an accounting/finance degree and/or audit experience.
  • Excellent academic performance in an undergraduate degree and strong performance at your current employer.
  • Strong Excel skills, proficient in building complex models and highly quality decision making and problem solving.
  • Capable of translating raw / imperfect data into thoughtful analysis that will be delivered to senior executives
  • Strong time management skills, detail-oriented and able to grasp new concepts quickly while dealing with initial ambiguity and imperfect data.
  • Able to work variable hours with high career ambitions to grow in the M&A/investment group, and wider organisation as a leader of tomorrow.
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills with the confidence and polish to speak with Senior Executives, prospects, lawyers, accountants and investment bankers.
  • A strong understanding (or interest/curiosity) in the technology and the software industry is an asset.

This is an exciting opportunity to start or continue your Corporate Finance / Investment career, post qualification, within a thriving International Software Group that has compelling plans for growth in the short to medium term, leading to fantastic career prospects.
