Your Responsibilities As a Well-Being And Activities Coordinator:
- Design and deliver a varied, engaging, and meaningful programme of activities that cater to residents’ personal interests, hobbies, cultural and religious needs
- Promote physical and mental wellbeing through both group and individual sessions
- Organise special events both inside and outside the home such as arts and crafts, musical performances, outings, pet therapy, and fitness activities
- Work with residents to produce newsletters and support communication for social media and relatives
- Maintain accurate records of participation and gather feedback to improve activities
- Manage and work within a monthly activities budget
- Support residents with transport to community activities and appointments where necessary
What We Are Looking For:
- A friendly, imaginative, and passionate individual who is confident engaging with people of all abilities and backgrounds
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- A positive, ‘can-do’ attitude and a genuine passion for supporting others
- Proficient IT skills
- A valid UK driving licence (required)
- Previous experience in a similar role or within a care setting is desirable but not essential – full training will be provided

Situated in the heart of March, Cambridgeshire, Wendreth Court Care Home is a purpose-built home offering 54 ensuite bedrooms across two floors. We provide dementia care, residential care, respite care, and end-of-life care in a warm, inclusive, and welcoming environment.
