Overview: We are currently recruiting a reliable and professional Class 1 and 2 HGV Driver for a dedicated evening route. This role offers consistent, weekday work. Drivers are responsible for vehicle operation, loading/unloading via forklift or pallet truck and completing a straightforward route from point A to B.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive a Class 1 and 2 HGV safely and in accordance with all road and company regulations
- Supervise or assist with non-handball loading and unloading using appropriate equipment
- Complete scheduled delivery route promptly and professionally
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
- Maintain accurate delivery records
Requirements:
- Full UK Class 1 or 2 Driving licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Previous driving experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and a punctual, dependable work ethic
- Committed to safety and compliance
