Our client is looking to recruit a Network Support Analyst with Cisco CCNA certification, requiring at least 5 years of proven experience. This is a support (BAU) role with involvement in designing scalable solutions delivered through projects, encompassing technologies that support high-availability solutions. The ideal candidate is a fast thinker who can diagnose issues, assist others, and remediate BAU support problems.
Responsibilities include maintaining documentation and networking diagrams for support and internal audits, supporting root cause analysis, and ensuring smooth operations.
- Support and deliver all aspects of network services within the Infrastructure team.
- Manage BAU activities including networks, telephony, PABX, voice recording, desk moves, and changes.
- Support annual Disaster Recovery testing and invocation.
- Design, build, and implement firewall solutions from perimeter to DMZ.
- Support IPS deployment across European sites.
- Develop, maintain, and enforce global standards for networking devices.
- Interpret network security reports.
- Assist with migrating network estate to new security frameworks.
- Facilitate internal and external audits and penetration testing, including remediation.
- Manage treasury solutions such as IPC turrets.
General Skills:
- Experience working in mission-critical environments.
- Experience in operational deployments.
- Maintain industry-recognized skills through ongoing training and self-study.
Technical Skills:
- Deep knowledge of Cisco technologies including firewalls, switches, and routing protocols.
- Experience supporting data centers with branch interconnectivity (LES circuits).
- Cisco CCNA certification is required.
- Knowledge of VPN technologies (IPSEC).
- Security certifications are advantageous.
Technologies: Layer 2 Switching, Layer 3 Routing, VPN IPSEC & SSL, TACACS, RADIUS, NAT/PAT, VSS. High availability systems, including failover and first hop redundancy protocols.
