We are seeking a Key Account Manager, covering Scotland, with an entrepreneurial spirit who excels in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment to join our team.
What You Will Do:
- Build and foster strong KOL and customer relationships within the territory.
- Work along Chief Surgeons and Surgeons to support usage of Tachosil and other technologies in the OR.
- Be in the OR and departments to present and demonstrate the product while fostering strong relationships with OR stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities with new customers and develop tailored solutions dependent upon customer needs.
- Manage and grow sales within the existing customer base ensuring customer satisfaction is maintained.
- Ensure a high level of product, therapeutic and competitor knowledge is obtained and maintained.
- Liaise with stakeholders such as Pharmacists, Purchase Managers and Admin to manage continuous availability of the product within Trusts and Clinics.
- Compliance with both local jurisdictions, regulatory, professional and ethical standards.
- Conduct a regular territory analysis in order to develop an in depth understanding of customers, competitor landscape and trends in sales and market share.
- Complete monthly customer activity and sales reports including detail on the sales pipeline.
- Ensure time allocation and focus are aligned with the defined company sales strategy.
- Execute defined UK Key Account strategies at the local account level.
- Ensure all contact details and agreed activities are updated in CRM system in a timely manner ensuring these are GDPR compliant.
- Available to travel (min 50% to max 80%) and stay overnight if required.
- Provide tailored training sessions to customers dependent upon identified needs.
What You Will Need:
- Desired degree-level qualification in life sciences.
- Minimum 3-5 years selling into theatres and clinics.
- Theatre / Surgery environment experience.
- Working experience in NHS Trusts and super Trusts.
- Knowledge of NHS and the private sector sales cycle is a must.
- Haemostasis and/or Biosurgery experience is highly desirable.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills to evaluate the commercial approach.
- Strong people skills to develop long-lasting customer relationships.
- Team player, strong sense of urgency and accountability.
- Experience in utilising Microsoft Office suite e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SalesForce.
- Based in the territory.
