As a Dispatcher you will be responsible for ensuring customer deliveries are picked and dispatched to required timelines to ensure excellent customer service. Ensuring all our drivers are running in an efficient manner and departing with the correct goods within the required timeframe.
Responsibilities:- Ensuring customer orders are picked and deadlines met by ensuring that products are prepared and ready for dispatch.
- Assign and plan routes for drivers to efficiently utilise the resources at hand.
- Oversee the running of the warehouse and ensure that all processes and procedures are carried out correctly.
- Checking and putting away supplier deliveries, informing your line manager of any shortages or damaged stock.
- Assist with a rolling stock taking program, ensuring all stock is always located correctly.
- Assist with maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Able to work as part of a team.
- Able to work with a high degree of accuracy/computer literate.
