Role Summary
Join a multifaceted asset manager as the ETF Capital Markets Director – EMEA, leading the expansion of a $500 million UCITS Active ETF business. As part of the Global Capital Markets Team, you'll lead day-to-day responsibilities, provide strategic leadership, and be the sole EMEA representative until the business scales. This role requires a UCITS ETF expert who can navigate the internal and external ecosystem, respond promptly to partner and client inquiries, and define ETF requirements for new American Century and Avantis Investors ETFs. You'll also engage with the sales team and clients, offering education and guidance on trading ETFs and investment strategies. This hybrid position will be based out of our London office.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Demonstrate expertise in American Century and Avantis Investors UCITS ETFs, focusing on capital markets activities, product structure, and investment processes.
- Oversee daily responsibilities of the ETF Capital Markets team for UCITS ETFs.
- Monitor and improve market quality (volume, spreads, premiums, and discounts) of UCITS ETF products.
- Develop and maintain relationships with UCITS ETF Capital Market participants and partners in Europe.
- Lead late-stage implementation of new UCITS ETF products, collaborating with internal and external teams.
- Define ETF ecosystem requirements for new American Century and Avantis ETFs.
- Assist senior management with research on new and existing products, thought leadership, and other ETF business initiatives.
- Engage with prospects and clients on investment strategies within the UCITS ETF platform.
- Ensure timely responses to client and partner inquiries, while acting as an escalation point for issue resolution.
What You Bring to the Team (Required)
- 8+ years of related experience in asset management, securities trading, investment banking, etc, with specific ETF experience.
- Proven expertise of the UCITS ETF industry, product structure and the related eco-system.
- Exhibits eagerness to learn, adaptability, energy, and passion for ETFs, finance, and asset management.
- Be a dynamic and grounded team player comfortable in a small entrepreneurial environment, capable of directing and guiding peers while overseeing team activities.
- Able to multi-task while accommodating needed requests.
- Confident self-starter who proactively adds new value to the business.
- BS in Business, Finance or related field.

Additional Assets (Preferred)
- MBA or equivalent graduate degree.
- English and German speaking is highly desired.
- 4+ years of ETF Capital Markets experience.
