Do you like variety, young people and working as part of a fantastic team? If the answer is yes then this role might be for you. The South Wolds Academy & Sixth Form is seeking to fill three Housekeeping roles.
- One role is full time, working 37 hours per week. The hours of work will be Monday to Thursday 10.30 am - 6.30 pm and Friday 10.30 am - 6.00 pm. This includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
- Two roles are part time, working 21 hours per week. The hours of work will be Monday to Thursday 2.15 pm - 6.30 pm and Friday 2.00 pm - 6.00 pm.
Previous experience in a school environment is not essential but a commitment to high standards of hygiene and cleanliness is required. Previous experience in housekeeping or general cleaning would be an advantage but is not necessary.
You will need to demonstrate a commitment to working in a safe manner and be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check. The role is physically demanding, so applicants need to be physically able to meet those requirements.
Finally, you must be a good communicator, enjoy working around young people, and always be willing to help your team when the unexpected happens. We will train you in the specific aspects of the job; you just need to bring a willingness to learn and have a friendly and approachable manner.
