As Talent Acquisition Specialist, you\’ll partner designated regions located across the South East, East Anglia and Midlands to deliver an efficient and effective recruitment service, and an excellent hiring manager and candidate experience.
You\’ll directly recruit a mix of high volume and niche roles, along with day to day management of our Agency PSL. You\’ll also be responsible for developing and implementing best in class recruitment and talent strategies for your designated regions.
Reporting to our Talent Acquisition Manager, you\’ll be part of a small team of Talent Acquisition Specialists, supported by an Apprentice Resourcer.
Location
Hybrid – as a guide:
- 2-3 days per week Home based
- 1 day every week: Central London or Birmingham office (by the NEC/Airport)
- 2 days per month: pre-planned visits to sites/ offices within assigned regions – South East, Midlands, North West, East Anglia.
Hours of Work
- Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8.45am – 5.15pm (30 minute break)
The Role
- Managing the recruitment of assigned roles inc; taking detailed role briefings from our Talent Acquisition Manager/ Hiring Managers, proactively, directly sourcing candidates using a variety of methods including networking, referrals, social media, LinkedIn, job boards and other platforms; conducting candidate screening, arranging interviews, providing candidate feedback, delivering verbal offers
- Managing the Agency PSL – day to day relationship
- Building talent pools/ pipelining for regularly recruited roles, keeping candidates \’warm\’
- Partnering your designated Sectors, to truly understand their challenges, formulating and delivering appropriate initiatives
- Building relationships with key stakeholders within Sectors and support functions at all levels, through collaborative working arrangements and regular communication
- Delivering a great candidate experience by being a Dalkia Facilities Brand Ambassador
- Advising and guiding hiring teams on recruitment matters including upskilling/ delivering training
- Developing knowledge of and advising on talent, competitors and recruitment markets
- Attending careers fairs, schools outreach etc, promoting Dalkia and facilities careers in the wider community
- Working closely with the Head of Talent Acquisition to support continuous improvement, developing/delivering recruitment projects and strategic initiatives

Requirements:
- Experience of recruiting high volume and specialist, operational roles in a relevant sector (e.g. facilities, catering and hospitality, healthcare, logistics)
- Experience of developing and delivering strategies that improve recruitment/ add value beyond filling vacancies
- Full valid UK driving licence and own transport is essential due to our office locations
- Knowledge of a range of recruitment and selection methods and assessment techniques
- Understanding of systems for managing recruitment e.g. ATS
