RMS Recruitment is working with a global specialist in safety-critical training and workforce development for high-risk industries — including offshore, maritime, wind energy, and emergency response services. Due to recent company growth, they are now hiring for a Regional Sales Executive.
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm. Following a training and induction period, hybrid working will be available.
Additional Benefits: Bonus scheme, car allowance, private medical insurance, life insurance, enhanced sick pay, and 34 days’ holiday (including bank holidays).
About the Role: We are seeking a driven and ambitious Regional Sales Executive with strong industry contacts. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded individual who thrives on building relationships and delivering customer-focused solutions across both safety and digital products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively maximise revenue and develop new business opportunities with both existing and prospective clients across the UK and internationally.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of sales opportunities by establishing effective relationships with key decision-makers.
- Create tailored, solution-based proposals that meet clients’ needs and deliver mutual growth opportunities.
- Identify and respond to tender opportunities, ensuring all pre-qualification requirements are met on time.
- Consistently achieve revenue and sales targets aligned with company objectives.
- Foster collaborative working relationships between commercial and operational teams.
- Drive client retention through regular internal and external debriefs.
- Represent the business at promotional events, conferences, industry functions, and trade body events both in the UK and overseas.
- Produce regular technical business reports (weekly, monthly, annually) covering revenue vs. budget by product and client, sales pipeline, project conversion rates, and utilisation/fill rates.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of health and safety legislation and industry trends to identify potential new business opportunities.
About You:
- Proven experience in account management and sales pipeline development, with a track record of winning new business, growing revenue, and achieving both sales and customer satisfaction targets.
- Full UK driving licence is essential.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience delivering commercial presentations.
- Confident using IT systems, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Spider, and Salesforce.
- Highly organised, customer-focused, with strong business acumen and a proactive approach.
