As part of this role, you’ll be responsible for our environmental, social and governance (ESG) compliance and timely reporting across the supply chain within the EMEA region. We’ll look to you to bring your analytical experience with great attention to detail. You’ll be able to manage, aggregate and draw conclusions from multiple data sets and present this back to stakeholders across the business. You’ll have a proven track record of managing disclosures, ESG indices and due diligence frameworks, with experience of sharing your knowledge of the rapidly changing landscape of ESG reporting requirements. You’ll have a strong understanding of globalized supply chains and knowledge of regulations in relation to sustainability.
About the role:
- Being our end to end project subject matter expert for ESG reporting requirements across EMEA.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams internally (across EMEA and US) and external stakeholders.
- Reviewing current reporting streams and coordinating requirements with identified tasks to ensure Starbucks’ compliance.
- Ensuring ESG reporting requirements are managed effectively and efficiently, by addressing each criteria with a defined scope to time, cost and quality constraints, ensuring compliance across the EMEA markets.
- Consolidating and reviewing ESG reporting data and assessing it for gaps, areas of risk and ensuring the quality of the supporting data is appropriate.
- Driving the education, communication, training, and implementation of the ESG standards across the company in all operational areas, including its associated business activities, sub-contractors and supply chains.
- Monitoring and escalating the effectiveness of implementation of the ESG Policies, Process, Procedures and Guides and updating in line with changes in laws, regulations, and corporate directives.
