What you will accomplish:
- Develop the value proposition for eBay Fashion Live.
- Grow the category by working with category & account management teams and then work across a full multi-functional team including finance, HR, legal, Marketing, to deliver against targets.
- Pillar Initiative Leader: Serve as the squad captain for key critical initiatives, driving innovation and growth for the category.
- Strategic Partner for Business Development: Collaborate with the Business Development team to drive category acquisition efforts, including the development and execution of a comprehensive assortment strategy.
- Country Strategy Contributor: Provide valuable country-specific insights to define overarching category strategies.
- Competitive Analysis: Lead in-depth analyses of the competitive landscape to uncover opportunities and mitigate potential threats.
- Business Case Development: Craft compelling reasons for targeted seller and inventory strategies and work with the Account Management team to implement.
- Performance Analysis and Planning: Apply sales data, customer feedback, and other critical metrics to assess category performance and implement a clear, actionable category plan.
- Customer Insight Integration: Leverage a deep understanding of customer needs and preferences to guide informed decision-making within the category.
- Segment Leadership: Act as the primary point of contact and lead for segment-specific initiatives, driving category growth and innovation.
What you will bring:
- BA/BS degree, with 10+ years of relevant ecommerce experience.
- Experience as a leader in an online marketplace, digital platform, or retail environment.
- Validated experience with defining strategy, aligning multi-functional teams to shared outcomes and delivering strategies from roadmap to delivery in a highly collaborative culture.
- Shown leadership experience in critical initiatives, driving growth and encouraging innovation.
