About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Process Engineer to join our injection moulding team. You will be on the shop floor solving day-to-day processing issues while also applying scientific and analytical methods to improve quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve moulding process issues quickly to minimise downtime
- Develop, document and optimise injection moulding, paint and robotic assembly processes, using scientific principles
- Support new tool trials and process validation
- Analyse process data to identify trends and implement improvements
- Work closely with operators, technicians and quality teams to maintain consistent production standards
- Train shop floor staff on best practices for process control
Requirements
- Strong experience in injection moulding (hands-on essential)
- Solid understanding of scientific moulding principles (DOE, decoupled moulding etc.)
- Ability to interpret process data and make informed adjustments
- Good communication skills, able to work well with production teams
- Engineering qualification or equivalent experience
