We are seeking a Vehicle Performance Engineer to join our team at the new Silverstone Facility. This role involves leading vehicle performance simulation, analysis, model development, and simulator operations. We encourage innovation and idea-sharing to foster an environment of shared success.
Principal Responsibilities:- Perform performance, simulation, and vehicle dynamics projects to enhance short-term and long-term vehicle performance.
- Develop and maintain simulation and analysis tools.
- Provide engineering support to Design, Aero, Strategy, and Race Engineering teams.
- Operate simulators effectively.
- Maintain department administration and reporting procedures.
- Strong understanding of physics and mathematics related to high-performance vehicles.
- Experience with Python or MATLAB/Simulink.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Openness to new ideas and innovative approaches.
- Ability to perform duties accurately and efficiently.
- Effective communication skills across departments.
- Proficiency in IT skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
