My Client, a well-established Optical Domiciliary Company, has a vacancy for a full or part-time permanent optometrist, working Monday to Friday (no weekends required) within Newcastle upon Tyne and surrounding areas.
You will visit Nursing and Care Homes and patients in their own homes, conducting full clinical tests. Candidates must possess excellent clinical skills, a sympathetic approach, and empathy, as most patients are elderly, infirm, and some suffer from dementia. You will be assisted by an experienced Optical Assistant who will also drive you to the venues.
