Field Service Engineer required: Prospero Integrated are in need of a Field Service Engineer. If this is you, please read on. Most of your work would be in central London but you could be needed anywhere in the UK. We also need to service our installations around the globe, so your willingness to travel would be a bonus. Working in our busy Aftercare Department, you will be conversant in Crestron systems and knowledge of other home integration systems would be advantageous. You should have the ability to multi-task and an ability to prioritise workload, be a team player and willing to take on additional ad-hoc duties as required to be able to deliver the amazing service that our clients deserve. What skills do I need? Experience within the AV / Home Automation industry; Technical knowledge of the installation of electronic audio-visual systems including Crestron. Knowledge of Lutron, KNX and Control4 is desirable. An understanding of network infrastructures and protocols; Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal; Good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities; Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise work and deliver solutions to clients; A can-do attitude and a willingness to go above and beyond to get the job done right; You are passionate about AV/IT work and are committed to excellence and continuous improvement. You should have: An outgoing personality with the confidence and ability to get on well with people. Be pro-active and motivated. Be able to multitask.
