Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 DOE

Hours: Monday to Friday, shift/rota work (flexibility given and required, discussed at interview)

About the Role

We have an excellent opportunity to join a prestigious commercial vehicle bodybuilding factory in Wiltshire as a Production Supervisor. If you’re fully qualified and have a strong track record of leading teams within a manufacturing or vehicle bodyshop environment, this is the role for you.

You will oversee a semi-productive workshop team of bodybuilders and skilled technicians, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely completion of work. Your leadership will inspire the team to deliver the highest standards while actively contributing to the production process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the workshop team to deliver quality workmanship, compliance, and time management
  • Lead and motivate your team to achieve the best results and maintain high morale
  • Maintain production processes in line with whole vehicle type approval requirements
  • Ensure all safety, regulatory, and company policies are adhered to
  • Read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings accurately
  • Oversee drilling, jigged and un-jigged assembly using power tools safely
  • Perform or supervise MIG/TIG welding of fabricated parts to company and customer standards (preferred)
  • Manage installation of insulated panels on commercial freezer bodies
  • Conduct basic wiring of lights and fixtures on commercial vehicles
  • Carry out fabrication work ensuring quality and safety standards are met
  • Maintain good housekeeping across work areas, vehicles, and onsite locations
  • Support management with other projects, tasks, and duties as required
  • Demonstrate excellent personal timekeeping and conduct
