Are you an ambitious Junior or Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer looking to develop your career with a forward-thinking company? I'm working with a respected Design and Build business in Dorset that is looking to expand its team with a talented engineer to work on a wide variety of exciting projects across the commercial, industrial, and large-scale domestic sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of electrical design work from concept through to completion
  • Interpret client requirements from drawings, specifications, and correspondence
  • Collaborate with Mechanical Design Engineers and M&E Co-ordinators
  • Provide marked-up drawings for CAD/Revit teams, ensuring compliance with specifications
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and external design teams
  • Carry out design calculations using software such as Electrical OM, Amtech, Dialux, and Relux
  • Assist in producing single-line diagrams, cable schedules, load assessments, and equipment specifications
  • Contribute to design risk assessments and support project documentation
  • Learn and grow within a supportive team (opportunities for progression)
