Our client, a Freight Forwarder based in Basildon is looking to recruit a new team member for their NVOCC department to work on Exports. They are looking for someone with operational experience handling groupage / consolidation, preferably handling files from start to finish, however, they can offer support on documentation and customs entries if required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document Preparation: Creating and managing necessary export documents, such as bills of lading, export declarations, and commercial invoices.
- Booking and Coordination: Arranging freight bookings, coordinating with carriers, and ensuring timely pick-up and delivery of goods.
- Customs Compliance: Ensuring all export shipments comply with relevant customs regulations and procedures.
- Communication: Maintaining communication with clients, carriers, customs brokers, and other relevant parties.
