We are looking for a Sales Specialist to join our new Sales Team dedicated to providing best in class card acquiring and revenue based financing solutions to our small business customers. You will be helping customers with selecting the right point of sale (POS) device for their business and understanding their financing requirements to identify the best revenue based finance solution for them.
Through effective conversations, you will take the time to understand the businesses you engage with and their finance needs, effectively matching them to the best product and plan that meets their needs, giving every customer a 5 Star experience through our professionalism and outstanding standard of customer service.
Some of the things you will be doing:
- Contact, engage and manage our Small Business customers through their application process, from device order to set-up and activation.
- Understand their card acquiring needs and current and future card revenues to find the best solution for their requirements.
- Become confident in articulating the Tide and Funding Options propositions and services; focused on our card acquiring proposition and device reader options.
- Outbound calling of prospect customers.
- Working closely with our Lead Generation and marketing teams, including providing feedback and advice where appropriate.
- Occasionally deputising for the team leader.
- Building on your knowledge of business finance and gaining an in-depth understanding of the wide variety of lenders and products in the market.
- Confidently articulating the revenue based finance options available to customers as well as the different point of sale options we offer.
- Maintaining accurate, up-to-date information on any prospects that you speak with.
- Monitoring and identifying trends whilst adding new or enhanced customer profile information.
- Keeping up to date on industry trends, market & competition.
- Actively sharing stories and successes to the wider organisation through relevant comms channels.

- Ideally you will have experience of acquiring / POS / Card Reader sales.
- You will be able to demonstrate a track record of successfully meeting and exceeding sales targets, ideally having spent at least 2 years in similar sales roles.
