A new exclusive opportunity: we are seeking a commercially focused Group Financial Director to join a successful privately owned group of companies based in Bradford, with a turnover of 20m. This key leadership role reports directly to the owners and encompasses broad financial, commercial, and operational responsibilities across the group.
The Role Includes:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Cash flow management, forecasting, and oversight of funding requirements (loans, overdrafts, leases)
- Managing foreign currency purchases, forward contracts, and supplier payments in multiple currencies
- Company secretarial duties, compliance, and governance
- Overseeing intercompany transactions and recharges
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns
- Managing Sage 200, Sage CRM, and MS Office systems
- Overseeing insurances, utilities, and fleet management
- Supporting capital expenditure projects and property management
- Identifying and securing grant funding and R&D tax credits
- Managing construction project finances and controlling costs
- Liaising with external auditors and professional advisors
