In this role you’ll be responsible for coordinating the logistics of all marketing content requirements including photography shoots, filming and graphic design. Reporting into the Marketing Content Manager, this is a cross-functional and external-facing role liaising across the Marketing, Buying and Merchandising teams as well as dealing directly with third party suppliers to support the coordination of a profitable annual calendar of marketing activity.

You’ll own the seasonal photography shoot calendar, liaising internally and externally to make sure the output matches both the product storytelling priorities and also the creative execution standards required. In addition, you’ll support the content production team in making sure all sets and locations are ready and assist in post-production and editing of all internally created content, ideally to include retouching photography and editing video content.

About You

You’ll be extremely well organised and deadline driven, with the ability to plan and juggle multiple concurrent timelines. You’ll need to have excellent communication skills to coordinate with cross functional colleagues and you’ll need to be able to influence others around a common purpose. You’ll be confident and not phased by dealing with external suppliers and Lakeland people at all levels of the business. You’ll need to be a strong self-starter; solution oriented and have a can do attitude. It’s important you’re a team player, able to collaborate with others whilst positively challenging and welcoming feedback to drive self improvement.

ESSENTIAL

  • Experience of working in a coordination or planning function, preferably B2C and ideally in a multichannel business with a significant online presence.
  • Knowledge and experience using design software e.g. Photoshop, InDesign, video editing apps.
  • Good computer literacy - Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

IDEAL BUT NOT ESSENTIAL:

  • Bespoke software solutions.
  • Marketing and/or Buying & Merchandising experience.
