We are looking to recruit a Principal Acoustic Consultant with 10+ years' experience to work in our building acoustics, environmental/planning, and noise insulation scheme sectors, amongst others. My client is one of the world's leading acoustic consultancies within their industry and they are an employee-owned company, based in London & Brighton. They are currently looking for a skilled Principal Acoustic Consultant to join their Acoustics Team.
The Role:
- Lead or co-lead an industry sector within the business.
- Grow and develop that sector, delivering high-quality work and setting and meeting income targets.
- Develop less experienced staff, drive new market opportunities, build client relationships, raise the company profile, and define the approach to work and standards.
- Represent the business externally at cross-discipline events, attend networking opportunities, and build a technical brand aligned with the company's strategic direction.
- Set yearly strategic objectives, including income targets and capex budgets.
- Manage resources, time, and budgets to achieve these objectives.
- Support colleagues in project delivery, providing technical direction and reviewing work before client submission.
- Develop new client relationships and generate new work.
- Manage and direct projects of all sizes within your sector.
- Perform high-level data analysis, calculations, and modelling for large-scale, complex scenarios.
- Coach less experienced staff and support their career development.
- Drive your own personal development and that of others.
