Job Responsibilities:
- The role holder will be expected to be responsible for the following:
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and visualizations in Power BI
- Support Ad-Hoc requests and standard reporting cycles
- Assist in managing data quality and integrity by performing data validation and ensuring accurate reporting results
- Partner with senior analysts to deliver BI projects
- Assist in the development of best practice for data analysis, visualization and reporting
- Create engaging and interactive dashboards in Power BI
- Work closely with various teams to understand business needs and communicate findings effectively
- Develop skills in data modelling and predictive analytics to support strategic initiatives
- Maintain and record Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and metrics
- Participate in data governance efforts and ensure data quality and integrity
- Identify opportunities to widen data scope and source data effectively and appropriately from both internal and external sources
- This role is extremely varied; therefore, the job description is not exhaustive and the role holder will be required to participate in other duties as required by the business.
Job Skills & Experience Required:
- To succeed in this role, you will need the following:
- Qualifications:
- A-Levels or equivalent
- PC Skills, Excel, PowerPoint & Word
- Knowledge of SQL and Python an advantage
- Additional foreign language is an advantage
- Knowledge and usage of a BI tool (Power BI, Qlik Sense, SAP SAC)
- Knowledge of data modelling and data visualisation
- Strong English communication skills (written and spoken)
- Solid organisation, coordination and planning skills
- Ability to work in a changing environment
- Ability to collaborate with a diverse group of people from multiple functions
- Solid influencing skills
