This is a hands-on engineering opportunity within a collaborative production environment. You will be part of a close-knit team focused on driving continuous improvement and delivering production excellence across the factory floor.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting new product introductions (NPIs)
  • Improving and implementing production processes
  • Introducing lean methodologies to boost efficiency and reduce waste
  • Working closely with technicians to diagnose and resolve equipment issues
  • Updating technical documentation
  • Supporting layout changes and equipment installations
  • Designing jigs and fixtures
  • Running automation projects
  • Helping with takt time analysis to optimise production KPIs

You will engage with a wide range of stakeholders—from shopfloor teams and engineers to external suppliers and senior management—making communication skills and a proactive mindset essential.

Education: Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (essential)

Experience:

  • Engineering or production environment experience (essential)
  • PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) design, manufacture, or testing experience (desirable)
  • Experience with automation systems (desirable)

Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of electronics, including component-level knowledge (essential)
  • Awareness of lean manufacturing and process improvement methodologies (desirable)

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Windows-based systems (essential)
  • Experience with any of the following is a bonus: SAP Business One, CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks), Test software (e.g. LabVIEW)
