About the role of a PR & Partnership Manager:
As a PR & Partnerships Manager, you will initially be working on 4 large scale exhibitions, two are launches and two which are established. This new role within the business offers excellent potential to grow this function. You will be expected to come in and drive the PR side of the events, you will need to manage media partnerships and be highly connected within the industry with the aim of securing press coverage both for sponsors, speakers, and the events.

Our client is a growing business within the events sector. They operate market-leading events worldwide and are passionate about delivering a great experience to their customers and the market sector in general.
You should be able to demonstrate competency in the below key areas, it is not essential to meet all requirements, but priority will be given to applications that satisfy most:
- Ideally have worked for a PR agency or been in-house.
- Able to create strong relationships with journalists.
- Able to write press releases, press invitations etc.
- Experienced in pitching and negotiation.
- Strong database skills and analytics.
- Coordinate press opportunities.
- Creative and happy to try new things to see how the market reacts.
- Ability to monitor competitor activity and stay ahead of the game.
- Used to deadlines whilst working with other departments/suppliers.
- Evidence of working in a team environment towards a common goal.
