Are you an experienced and passionate SENCO looking for your next challenge? Do you have the skills and dedication to lead SEND provision and safeguarding in a supportive primary school environment? We are seeking a full-time SENCO & Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) for an immediate start at a primary school in Hillingdon. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with a competitive salary on the MPS/UPS scale + SEN Allowance 2.

The Role

  • Leading and managing SEND provision across the school to ensure all pupils receive the support they need.
  • Coordinating and implementing EHCPs, interventions, and support strategies for children with additional needs.
  • Acting as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), ensuring the highest standards of safeguarding and child protection.
  • Working closely with teachers, support staff, external agencies, and parents to provide an inclusive learning environment.
  • Delivering staff training and professional development on SEND and safeguarding best practices.

What We Are Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and the NASENCO qualification (essential).
  • Proven experience working as a SENCO in a primary setting.
