We’re seeking a skilled and reliable Class 1 Shunter Driver to join our client’s busy site in Ashford (Kent). If you’re passionate about logistics and take pride in precision, this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely shunt trailers in and out of bays and around the yard.
  • Escort incoming drivers to the designated waiting area.
  • Manage vehicle keys and deliver them to the appropriate bays.
  • Complete all relevant paperwork for trailer movements.
  • Conduct pre-move inspections to report and record any damage, preventing false claims.

What You’ll Need:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience driving HGV Class 1 (C+E).
  • No more than 6 points on your licence.
  • A valid Digi Tacho card and Driver CPC.
  • Previous shunting experience is essential.

What’s on Offer:

  • PAYE: £16.85phr to £18.54phr
  • Working hours: 06:00 to 18:00 or 18:00 to 06:00
  • Shift pattern: 4 days on / 4 days off
