An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Public Events & Engagement Assistant to undertake event and administrative duties to support the Admissions, Recruitment and Marketing division and deliver a strong customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
You will provide efficient, pro-active and high-quality customer support and assist the Public Events & Engagement team by undertaking a number of event and administrative duties including:
- Drafting reports
- Answering queries
- Event planning/management
You will need evidence of previous achievements in event management or organisation, along with the ability to prioritise and work creatively to solve problems.
This part-time (0.8 FTE) post is available on an indefinite basis. You will be required to work on campus on Mondays and Tuesdays, and to be able to work weekends and evenings to support events as and when required.
UEA offers a variety of flexible working options and although this role is advertised on a full-time basis, we encourage applications from individuals who would prefer a flexible working pattern including annualised hours, compressed working hours, part time, job share, term-time only and/or hybrid working.
