Purpose of the Role
We are seeking an experienced property/business agent to join our Retail team, based in Glasgow or Edinburgh. The role involves sourcing and transacting retail businesses and property across the Northern and Scotland regions.
Responsibilities include:
- Generating leads
- Processing instructions
- Managing deals to completion
- Identifying and qualifying buyers
- Serving as the first point of contact for clients, buyers, and applicants across the region
About the Team
The role reports directly to our Regional Director and ultimately to the Sector Managing Director. You will work closely with regional fee earners, finance and insurance brokers, support staff, and the central support team of IT and Marketing personnel. You will also be encouraged to develop relationships with business stakeholders within your territory.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Grow our brokerage activity in the retail market across the Northern and Scotland regions.
- Generate relationships and develop new business, winning agency mandates through various prospecting methods.
- Register and maintain client requirements on our Salesforce CRM system.
- Work closely with sector team colleagues to secure, list, market, and manage sale opportunities.
- Negotiate and agree deals, managing the sales process.
- Provide regular client updates on instruction activity.

- Minimum of 1 year experience in commercial real estate sales or a client-facing role in the sector; Essential
- Highly organized and self-motivated; Essential
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; Essential
- UK Driverβs license and confident with driving long distances; Essential
