Are you a hands-on Project Manager with a proven track record in IT system upgrade? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy working across UK and European teams? We're looking for an experienced Interim IT Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major ERP upgrade for a large, multi-site manufacturing business. This is a flexible, part-time contract role, ideal for a professional who can hit the ground running and manage complex projects with minimal disruption to operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end upgrade of an existing ERP system across UK and European sites (including France).
- Liaise with external software providers, ensuring SLAs are defined, agreed, and adhered to.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to capture and deliver key business requirements.
- Report into the Business Transformation Team, overseeing multiple workstreams and business change initiatives.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Support the business in change management, ensuring minimal disruption during go-live.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong background in Project Management or PMO roles, particularly in IT upgrades.
- Previous experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems and implementation processes.
- Solid knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Natural leadership skills with the ability to drive delivery under pressure.
- Prince2 certification preferred.
- Educated to degree level (desirable).
Additional Information:
- The role will be UK-based.
- Expected on-site presence 2-3 days per week, with flexibility around working arrangements.
- Immediate availability or short notice start preferred.
