Rate: £580/day (inclusive of expenses)

Are you a hands-on Project Manager with a proven track record in IT system upgrade? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy working across UK and European teams? We're looking for an experienced Interim IT Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major ERP upgrade for a large, multi-site manufacturing business. This is a flexible, part-time contract role, ideal for a professional who can hit the ground running and manage complex projects with minimal disruption to operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end upgrade of an existing ERP system across UK and European sites (including France).
  • Liaise with external software providers, ensuring SLAs are defined, agreed, and adhered to.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to capture and deliver key business requirements.
  • Report into the Business Transformation Team, overseeing multiple workstreams and business change initiatives.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Support the business in change management, ensuring minimal disruption during go-live.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Strong background in Project Management or PMO roles, particularly in IT upgrades.
  • Previous experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments is highly desirable.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems and implementation processes.
  • Solid knowledge of Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Natural leadership skills with the ability to drive delivery under pressure.
  • Prince2 certification preferred.
  • Educated to degree level (desirable).

Additional Information:

  • The role will be UK-based.
  • Expected on-site presence 2-3 days per week, with flexibility around working arrangements.
  • Immediate availability or short notice start preferred.
