Key Responsibilities:- Lead and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team across electrical and software functions
- Oversee the design, development, and testing of bespoke engineering systems — from concept to commissioning
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers, production teams, and project managers to ensure seamless technical integration
- Manage resource allocation, performance, and project timelines to deliver consistent, high-quality output
- Implement and maintain best practices in engineering standards, compliance, and documentation
- Drive process improvement and technical innovation across the department
- Report to senior stakeholders and contribute to technical strategy and delivery frameworks
- Proven experience in a senior engineering or team leadership role, managing electrical and/or software engineering teams
- Strong technical grounding in control systems, automation, or integrated engineering environments
- Comfortable leading projects from early-stage design through to final handover
- Excellent leadership, mentoring, and team performance management capabilities
- Strong communicator with effective cross-functional collaboration skills
- Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
