HSE / SiGeKo Advisor required for a Major Developer based in Germany.
Responsibilities:
- Planning traffic concept (signage, etc.)
- Fulfillment of ancillary provisions/conditions from approval.
- Project-specific preparation of the emergency plan.
- Preparation of site briefing documents (client's safety briefing) and ensure that an attendance list and a briefing list are kept.
- Informing and, if necessary, holding a preliminary meeting with all contractors (including subcontractors) with a detailed explanation of the health and safety measures.
- Obtaining and checking documents from the trades before entering the construction site: risk assessments, work instructions, list of machines, proof of qualification and instruction certificates for workers.
- Working towards compliance with the health and safety measures and the construction site regulations.
- Promoting the client's safety culture on the construction site.
- Organise and conduct safety meetings and inspections and compile according to RWE template and evaluate results.
- Collecting/compiling the monthly working hours of the trades on the construction site in accordance with the client's template.
- Collecting the amount of waste generated by the contractors by type of waste.
- Support the client in the implementation of HSE campaigns.
- Carry out HSE audits to ensure construction site safety.
- Carrying out or participating in safety walks together with the SiGeKo, Site Manager, Project Manager and HSE Project Manager.
- Carrying out accident investigations, analysing the causes of accidents and following up on action plans.
- Monitoring the application of the general principles in accordance with Section 4 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act on the construction site.
- Ensure communication and coordination with the health and safety coordinator (and site manager).
Requirements:
- German Native.
- Good command of English language.
- Relevant technical qualifications (BaustellenV, RAB30).
- SiGeKo qualification.
- 3+ years relevant construction experience.
