About The Team

The Fitch Legal team provides legal advice to its clients across the Fitch Group in understanding, evaluating and resolving legal issues relevant to their specific areas. The global team consists of lawyers based in London, New York, Tokyo and Hong Kong.

How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Providing strategic advice to business partners regarding the financial data markets
  • Analyzing, drafting and negotiating financial data agreements
  • Interpreting and negotiating both routine and complex contracts relating to, for example, the sale and/or purchase of services
  • Performing company secretarial work
  • Advising on various legal matters and risks affecting Fitch’s ratings and non-ratings financial information services businesses.

You May Be a Good Fit If

  • 4-10 years PQE
  • Preference for UK-qualified solicitor, although we will consider other bar memberships
  • Significant experience either working at a financial information provider (e.g. Bloomberg, Refinitiv, etc.) or servicing financial information provider clients while working at an internationally reputable law firm
  • Excellent written and spoken English; fluency in other language(s) a plus, especially widely spoken European languages, although not a requirement
  • Excellent client references.
