We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operational Service Delivery Specialist to enhance the delivery of support to our local authority, national and international clients. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our bespoke traffic management solutions are delivered efficiently, in line with contractual obligations, and with a focus on continuous improvement. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to manage service delivery processes, produce reports, present data, drive CRM and tooling enhancements, monitor performance metrics, and support change initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to shape operational excellence and may include line management responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day delivery of contracted services to customers
  • Organise and participate in regular service delivery meetings with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting on service performance, SLAs, and KPIs
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of customer contracts and ensure operational adherence
  • Track contract deliverables and support renewals, variations, and compliance activities
  • Support the implementation of operational changes and act as a liaison during change initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to streamline operations and enhance service quality
  • Contribute to internal reviews and post-implementation evaluations
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor service performance
  • Analyse trends and provide actionable insights to improve outcomes
  • Conduct customer visits, gather feedback, and ensure satisfaction
  • Coordinate and analyse customer satisfaction surveys and social value reporting
  • Identify and implement improvements to CRM systems and operational tooling
  • Collaborate with product teams to enhance data accuracy and reporting capabilities

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience in a service delivery, operations, or contract support role, ideally within a technical or field services environment
  • Strong understanding of customer contract management and service level agreements
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels
  • Knowledge of change management principles and practices
  • Analytical mindset with experience in reporting and performance metrics
  • Comfortable working with bespoke systems and interpreting complex concepts

Desirable:

  • Experience working with or for local authorities
  • Understanding of traffic industry or infrastructure services
  • Exposure to social value reporting frameworks
