About the Role:
Our Client is looking for a Field Service Engineer with a mechanical bias to join a leading service provider in the industrial compressors sector. Covering a regional patch across Northern England, you'll work with compressors from manufacturers including SCR, FPS and FluidAir. This is a field-based role, but you'll be home most nights, with occasional overnight stays - all expenses for accommodation, meals, and travel are covered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out service, maintenance, and repair of industrial compressors on customer sites
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently
- Liaise with clients to provide excellent customer service
- Complete reports and ensure accurate documentation of all work carried out
- Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicle to a high standard
What We're Looking For:
- Mechanical bias (electrical experience is beneficial but not essential)
- Previous experience working on industrial compressors is preferred (e.g. STR, HTC, HydraVein)
- Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on engineering capability
- Full UK driving licence
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule
