The Role: Deputy Nursery Manager – 50/50 Office and Room based (no key children)
As Deputy Manager, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the nursery. You will work closely with the Nursery Manager to lead the staff team, promote outstanding care and education, and maintain a safe, stimulating environment for children aged 0–5 years.
As a Deputy Nursery Manager, you will be expected to:
- Support the Nursery Manager in all aspects of nursery management, including staff supervision, compliance, and curriculum delivery
- Lead by example in delivering high-quality care and EYFS learning
- Maintain strong relationships with children, parents, and the wider team
- Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies are consistently upheld
- Take on managerial duties in the Manager’s absence

- Level 3 or above in Early Years Education (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a senior nursery role
