We’re working on behalf of a world-leading designer and OEM of ship motion control systems, with cutting-edge technology used across the commercial shipping, naval, and luxury yacht markets worldwide. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is experienced and motivated to take a lead role in driving technical service delivery and customer satisfaction across Europe.
Why this role? You’ll be joining a respected international brand at the forefront of maritime innovation, offering a technically interesting product line and a role with a high degree of autonomy and visibility. Working from the UK office, you’ll manage service operations across Europe—leading technicians, coordinating resources, and ensuring excellent customer support.
Key Responsibilities:- Be the go-to contact for all aftersales service and spare parts enquiries, from initial quotes through to successful service delivery.
- Prepare accurate, profitable service quotations and coordinate parts, labour, and timelines.
- Lead the scheduling and deployment of technicians across multiple European locations.
- Monitor service delivery, optimise resource usage, and ensure health & safety compliance.
- Maintain technician skills matrices and support training initiatives.
- Oversee cost control, project profitability, and risk management relating to customer orders.
- 2–3+ years’ experience in a service or aftersales role ideally within the marine industry.
- A strong communicator with solid leadership skills and a keen eye for operational detail.
- Technically capable – able to read engineering drawings and troubleshoot from schematics and manuals.
- Highly organised, customer-focused, and commercially aware.
- Able to manage multiple projects with professionalism and urgency.
