We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Construction Planner to join a residential developer with a strong presence across the Southeast. Working as both Main Contractor and Developer, they deliver a range of affordable housing and speculative developments, maintaining quality and community at the core of their projects.

Based in their West Malling office in Kent, you will work closely with the Construction team, while also supporting and collaborating with Development, Technical, Finance, and Commercial departments to ensure smooth project planning and delivery across all phases.

As a Construction Planner, you will:

  • Develop, monitor and update construction programmes across one or multiple residential projects
  • Work closely with the wider project teams to align programme expectations, resources, and deliverables
  • Produce and manage short-term and long-term planning schedules using relevant software (e.g., Asta Powerproject or MS Project)
  • Interface with pre-construction, development, technical, commercial, and delivery teams to support project success
  • Identify potential delays or risks early, and propose mitigation strategies
  • Ensure planning standards and reporting are consistently met throughout the business

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in construction planning (ideally within residential development or housebuilding)
  • Experience working on both affordable and private housing schemes is a plus
  • Proficient in planning software (e.g. Asta, MS Project)
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
