We are seeking an experienced Programme Director to partner with our Global Process Owner (GPO) in the delivery of our O2C business transformation programme, focusing on aligning global people activity, processes and technology around Order to Cash.
You will bring your expertise in hands-on project management as well as influencing globally dispersed stakeholder groups, to make things happen and focus our teams on delivering brilliantly.
The Role:
This role will drive the Process and Operational Excellence Programme specifically for Order to Cash (O2C) workstream in conjunction with the Global Process Owner for O2C. This is a large scale business led Global programme involving process harmonisation, standardisation and alignment with the GBS Strategy.
The GPO role for O2C is newly established within the organisation and comes with a broad scope of initiatives to plan, execute, and track over the next few years. These initiatives range from setting up the function and establishing the role in the organisation, defining governance framework, driving process harmonisation, performance improvements, and preparing for necessary related system and Tech changes, to name a few.
The role holder will provide dedicated support to the GPO and drive the programme management of multiple initiatives, track ongoing activities, coordinate projects, and ensure alignment across all stakeholders.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare O2C workstream for successful business transformation:
- Develop the plan from start to finish, including milestones, deadlines, and processes
- Design, implement, and evolve required project/change management capability
- Create effective cross functional workstreams/squads to deliver programme objectives
- Identify critical roles required for successful design, implementation and operationalisation of necessary systems, data and processes changes
- Develop and monitor the programme's budget, including risk allowance
- Manage the programme’s risks and control changes after approval
- Ensure business requirements are clearly defined and incorporated into systems design
- Facilitate workshops and drive adoption of new processes and tools
- Monitor and report on the progress of the portfolio of project milestones, health, and budget to Senior VPs, Finance Leadership Team and relevant impacted stakeholders.
- Provide strategic and tactical leadership to ensure optimal prioritisation and resource optimisation
- Troubleshoot issues and provide effective solutions.
- Take on ad-hoc projects as required.

Experience we will be looking for:
- Significant experience in leading complex Change/Transformation projects around global ERP processes or similar.
- Have an appreciation for a GPO structure, and the broad range of stakeholder engagement required.
- Have an understanding of global shared service processes and controls, O2C desirable.
- Have experience working with different project methodologies.
- Ability to bring others on the change journey, through excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have previous experience managing teams through a matrix structure.
- Balance attention to detail as well as being able to see the big picture.
- Cross functional experience highly desirable.
